I like to hang out and have a good time whether it be sitting at home watching movies or going out clubbing and just having a blast. Also the appeal to being outside in nature can be fun too. I'm a big fan of Dark Star Orchestra (Dead cover band) and Oysterhead. Outdoor concerts and festivals are a wonderful experience. This year I want to go to Lollapalooza. As of February, 2009, I'm in remission from non-Hodgkins lymphoma, a serious but highly treatable form of cancer. (Update: as of October 2009, I remain in remission. Go me!) For those who sent me their heartfelt well wishes during my treatment, please accept my grateful thanks and a big ol' virtual hug. For those who persisted in sending cheesy and poorly typed come-ons, including the guys who seemed to think that cancer equals desperation for sex (During chemotherapy? Are you kidding me?) well, we can't all be blessed with reading comprehension skills and I still wish you the best. Just nowhere near me.

I'm pretty laid back. I like being outside at all times of the year. I like to stay busy. Well theres alot about me i can't just write it the way i want to. But i'm playful i like to have a good time and laugh.

well i really hate doing these things describing myself and all. to put it short im single have a full time job and love to relax when i have time too. i like to go to movies and also hang out on the lake and in the country. as for a childhood i was in and out of the hospital alot so i was forced to grow up real quick. as for now day i have found just being home and talking on the phone to be nice when i get a chance. my family means the world to me, they've been through alot with me being sick when i was younger so i guess i always found them to be my best friend.

My grandfather just recently passed away a month ago and it is the hardest thing for me to deal with right now.I was recently hospitalized twice in one week again for my diabetes. My mom is trying to figure out what keeps causing this to happen to me and im not understanding it at all because I do what im suppose to and this keeps happening,it is one tough disease to deal with,and u dont want to mess with it! I am type 1 diabetic and have been hospitalized 9 times already,it is the deadliest type of diabetes! I didnt like taking my shots or medicine but thank god for everyone who has helped me through it all!

Hi, A person can never write to explain who they are. There are so many parts, experiences and differences in different situations, but I will try. The most time consuming part of my life currently is teaching. I am a special education teacher in a large high school. I commute to work about an hour but stay in the city I work in 3-4 nights a week. I arranged my life this way when the gas prices soared. I am involved in my students' school lives and sometimes in the lives of their families. My own children are grown and independent. My son has been married for about a year to a wonderful girl and works as a computer programmmer. My daughter has finished grad school and is now working as a physical therapist. I raised them alone through their teenage years and was first and foremost a Mom for a lot of years. Now, when not working, I enjoy my country home, flowers and vegetable garden, two dogs and two cats plus a few various hobbies. I try to be environmentally conscious in my gardening and home ownership. I have done many things, with my brother's help, in my yard and home to make things more convenient. My parents live close and I, with other family members now keep a close eye on them. A few of the things I like to do include photography, knitting, cooking healthy stuff, watching TV, growing plants, planning and creating, reading, sewing, dog training, some bike riding, playing cards and other games, and probably other things I forget. In the last couple of years I have been trying to become more organized in home maintenance and cleaning. It looks pretty good. In the future I would like a fish pond, to take a cruise, to buy a new frig and stove, keep working on training my 2 young dogs, and continue helping out the world through my interactions with students, my family and environmentally good practices.
